Nonequilibrium Bose-Einstein condensation

We investigate formation of Bose-Einstein condensates under non-equilibrium conditions using numerical simulations the three-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation. For this, we set initial random weakly nonlinear excitations and forcing at high wave numbers, study propagation turbulent spectrum toward low numbers. Our primary goal is to compare results for evolving with previous obtained kinetic equation weak turbulence. demonstrate existence a regime which good agreement turbulence found in terms main features previously discussed self-similar solution. In particular, find reasonable low-frequency high-frequency power-law asymptotics solution, including anomalous exponent $x^* \approx 1.24$ waveaction spectrum. also regimes very turbulence, when evolution affected by discreteness Fourier space, strong emerging condensate modifies dynamics leads strongly filamentary vortices.
